The Knockmore Rathduff Economic and Social Development Company, operating as the Knockmore Rathduff Recreation and Resource Centre, was established in 2001 to provide services for the community.
Our vision is a community where all ages can live, work and enjoy various activities in a safe environment.
Our mission is to encourage and promote this vision by: assisting in the creation of a safe, friendly environment, working in partnership with voluntary groups within our community. We aim to encouraging individuals to participate in recreation activities in an alcohol free environment.
Some of the services we provide include:
- Hot meals (both delivery and in-house)
- Business services (hot desks, remote working hub, office rental, conference rooms)
- Full IT suite
- Community Activities

We are always looking for new board members, so please get in touch if you would be interested in joining us.
We currently have 7 members of staff in the Centre supported by a full time Manager. We also facilitate a number of government employment schemes such as Community Employment (CE), Rural Social Scheme (RSS) and Tus who provide us with a vital team of a further 7 staff. This is operated in conjunction with Mayo North East.
